The clever and somewhat confusing twists and turns from the opening chapters will keep the reader on their toes, although some might have a hard time feeling a connection with the story until they are at least a third of the way through it. Then look out! The action is intense, the suspense is unpredictable, the sexual thrills are spellbinding, the poignantly tender touches are captivating, and the humor is witty and daring. The refreshing and uniquely vivid portrayal of the vampire life in this story is a wonderful touch that is sure to intrigue and charm the reader. Angelo and Ricardo are two delicious heroes who will engage the reader's sympathies right from the very beginning. The reader can't help but feel the depth and intensity of their emotions and the insecurities these two powerful vampires have for the one woman who can save them from a lifetime of loneliness and heartache. Tori is a smart, sassy, and lovable spitfire who is woman enough to keep Angelo and Ricardo tempted. The interaction between the characters is fully developed, believable and touching. The climactic ending with it dangerous thrills will have the reader on the edge of their seat!
