| Tira goes to the city called Enigma to make contact with the aliens known as the Sepians. She figures if she can get him to see that she is no threat, it will start the chain of communication. However it doesn't go as she planned and she finds herself a captive of Hunter. Soon she is learning his language and history, but she is also showing him a few things in the way of human desire. Then she finds out that she is special because she is to fulfill the prophecy, but is she strong enough to be what Hunter wants?
This is definitely not a book for the faint of heart; the hero is an alien and is described in vivid detail. The world of the Sepians is a very interesting place and will capture your attention from the first glimpse. The sex scenes are detailed and remember you are dealing with aliens so they are certainly creative. This is the first book in the series and sets the stage for the rest. This is not a boring read and Rachel Bo has created a wonderful and erotic world where human meets alien and set the pace for what promises to be an inventive series.
