The outrage that Radiance felt at how she was mistreated and handled as a slave was understandable. But she also showed grit and determination for what she had endured. The medieval practices on planet Shandra was quite a surprise, as one would imagine that the future should have learned from past mistakes. But Darkrock was quite proud of his heritage and how his people believe in women should warm the bed, and be bare foot and pregnant. But Strongsea at least knew that for his people to progress, getting out of that old rut was the best way for his people to succeed. And therein lay the problem between these two alpha dominant men who had completely different views and ideas. Finding themselves married to end the war between them and having Radiance added to the mix was the best thing that had ever happen to Darkrock, no matter how hard nose he tried to be. And just as this trio was beginning to form a triad, the enemy struck causing the drama and danger to leap off the pages of this story adding to the great mixture of sexual desire and love that cross the boundaries of these three different cultures.
