| By Daylight Come By Tielle St Clare Tina is just trying to entertain her nieces by saying a magic spell from a beautiful old dragon book. But shortly afterward she sees a disturbance and realizes there’s a dragon heading for her secluded property on the edge of town! She finds the wounded creature in her woods but it transforms right before her eyes. Now she has to get the most luscious wounded man she’s ever seen into her house to hide and heal. He claims to be her Protector but to survive they must find her Warrior and the three of them must Join. I loved the three main characters in this fun fantasy. Tina is smart but playing it safe with the man she’d really like to have in her life. He’s the ex husband of her girlfriend and it’s a small town. The magic of the dragon’s appearance turns her world and Dane’s upside down. The dialogue is smart and funny, the sensuality is striking. By Daylight Come is very entertaining!
Hyde! By Madison Hayes Jay and Hyde are an interesting futuristic twist on the classic Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde story. Teller is strong, independent and different from anyone they had met. The plot is fast paced and a bit confusing at first. But the answers to the puzzles for each of the main characters are revealed throughout the story in a way that results in the sense of being immersed in the action with them. Very intense sensuality, and a little scary, Hyde! is a densely plotted short story that has a lot packed into it! Hyde! is a fantastical treat!
Tale of the Dragon By Mlyn Hurn There is a sweet fairy tale quality to Tale of the Dragon with smoldering sexual heat to spice up the hero and heroines’ romance. There are sweet, funny secondary characters, a feisty dragon and a baby dragon, so cute! Krytan is gruff at first but it makes sense as we find out how he came to learn he had a son. And his relationship with the boy is endearing. This is no one note wonder, but a richly detailed fantasy that can be enjoyed over and over again like the best fairy tales. Another keeper in this dragon trilogy! Enter the Dragon is a wonderful anthology. Each of the three stories is sexy, intriguing in its own unique way and extremely enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed how differently each of the plots featured a dragon as an integral character. Each dragon had a distinct twist on normal expectations. I usually feel let down by at least one story in a collection but I can honestly say each one of these fine authors delivered a magical winner! Three claws up!
