Gabrielle Foster has been reading a woman's journal about her "relationship" with Eros, the Greek god of love. While reading the journal, Gabrielle starts to feel sorry for Eros. She finds him lonely and wants to help him feel a little less lonely. The way the journal reads Eros is lonely, selfless, and sad but the woman who wrote it just so happens to be clinically insane. So Gabrielle understands that it's not real and Eros isn't walking around somewhere in the world. Right? One night at her job working at the local diner Gabrielle finds the man of her dreams, waiting.

This story was quick, fast moving and not for me. This was a story that I really wanted to read because I'm a sucker for Greek mythology but this one fell short. While the story was well written and it flowed, it was also unbelievable to me even where fantasy is concerned. The story was really short and it's hard for me to make my point without giving away too much. First off, Eros came off as a stalker and Gabrielle came off desperate. The first chance she got she ran off with a stranger, to a totally different world, one that she could never come back from. What about her family? Her life? This just wasn't one for me. Maybe if it was longer, but who knows.
