The things the two men share makes it harder and harder to think of leaving.
Amanda Steiger crafts a story of two men…well, one's aan angel and the other is stuck between heaven and hell…but it's still about two guys who fall in love under unusual circumstances. Their characters are well constructed. Christian didn't have much on earth. He's haunted by abuse he suffered. Seth is an angel trying to right the wrongs of whatever world he lives in. He's sort of a cross between an angel like most readers picture that entity and a Jedi master complete with energy saber. It's no surprise that the two would be attracted to one other. Ms. Steiger manages to convey the thought that love is something everyone needs no matter what their circumstances. The eroticism is heavenly and the relationship they build is something they both need.
