| The last thing Avna Marie Soulsmith needed was to become involved in a vampire war. Unfortunately, she soon found herself caught between one master vampire who had designs for her life and body, and another who wanted to marry her and make her his legal bride. Problem was that both of these vampires had huge egos, and assumed that she was just gonna let them do what ever they wanted to her. They were both going to find out that she was no wall flower.
Eternal Bondage is an interesting story set in the time when vampires and human coexisted. of course as with everyday life you have your good guys and bad guys. Problem was, Avna found out that her will could be manipulated by Constantine and she hated it. Being a master vampire gave him super strengths that he used many times against her to get her to do what he wanted, and at times I thought this to be a bit humiliating. Constantine had an agenda, after having lived for centuries, and he wasn’t above using his skills to get the one woman who he had made up his mind would be his mate. Having her have a long special lineage was an added bonus, and when he helped Avna learn about it was a blessing in disguise for her, for she would need the strength to stand up to the other vampire Rusputin who was pure evil. With death all around them, and treachery and hate from those who would separate them at every turn, Avna and Constantine would learn that nothing is what they believe. A good story to read although a bit confusing at times.
