Of course it will only be temporary since she is an omega, but she can't help but hope that maybe they could make it real. Of course the pack won't acknowledge her as Lupina because of her status, so Alyra is caught between a rock and a hard place. This book is the second in the Evergreen Island Werewolf series and I would recommend that you read the first in the series to get a background of the characters. Jared is a sexy alpha male and certainly has the attitude to back it up. Alyra is willing to do whatever it takes to make up for the mistake of her brother, but is she willing to give up her heart. This book is awesome and you will find yourself reading until the very end and unable to put the book down.
