| Lorelei and Renaud are siblings. Born from different mothers on the same day, with only 20 minutes separating them at birth. They've spent their lives apart, their parentage a secret and yet the medallions given to them by their father link them.
Lorelei Allemande is a famous ballerina. She was finally settling down, at last she could be with her brother. But Lorelei hadn't counted on meeting War, the town's sheriff. Did Lorelei dare hope she had found the mate her father had spoke of? Can she over come a lifetime of fear and take the love offered to her? Sheriff Dekon Warrick Martine's (War) first meeting with Lorelei was heated by his instant attraction to her. She made him feel things he never dreamed possible. But what was it between Lorelei and his nephew Renaud? How was it one always knew when the other was in need? Renaud is like his uncle War, a werewolf. He is Lorelei's half brother and protector. It wasn't just a matter of keeping her safe. If Lorelei dies then so does Renaud, the down side of their genetic breeding. They were born at the same time and they would die together. Their only hope lies in the man who would be Lorelei's mate. Was his uncle War that man? J.J. Massa has written a story that I just couldn't put down. War, Lorelei, and Renaud will pull you into their lives and make you feel their loneliness as well as their passion. Lorelei is weak, easily hurt, and overloads from emotions. While Renaud is strong, unbeatable, but has no emotion at all. Together they are stronger, but for how long? The characters make the story seem so real. I hope Ms. Massa plans to continue this saga. I'd be very interested to know where they go from here. This is one suspense romance that will appeal to all readers. I recommend you get a copy soon and read how a beautiful ballerina and a beast of a sheriff beat a legacy and find love the hard way. Enjoy!
