Evil Wind is the long awaited exciting conclusion in the Wind Demon Trilogy by Charlotte Boyett-Compo. It is recommended that readers at least read the other books in this trilogy to fully enjoy. This is an exciting adventure that takes up where the last book left off. Emotionally stirring, this story that will keep the readers captivated as they wait to see if Kameron will be successful in rescuing his bloodkin. Readers will worry for his safety at the hands of his enemies as he turns himself in for execution knowing how he has been tortured in the past. Readers will fear for his life and safety. Will he ever see his beloved Bridie after all is said and done? The same wonderful sense of humor is present from the other books. The bots are back quoting Shakespeare and Poe. They will again have the reader in stitches. Kamerone’s dry humor in the face of all adversity helps win his place in the hearts of the readers. The women in his life are still giving him no respect. Kamerone’s way of placing all around him under his protection makes him our hero. He is the man they all called the Iceman. He has been tortured and manipulated from the moment of his conception. He has been trained to never give in to the pain or emotions that are tearing him apart. Men get out of his way when they see him coming. They fear him and admire him the same. Women all desire to be possessed by him but he is loyal to the only woman that holds his heart, his mate. He is the Prime Reaper that has won the hearts of all the readers. Readers that have read the other two stories have shed tears for this man and anxiously wait the time he will find happiness. More of his story is revealed and readers will be surprised with what they discover. The ending was a little disappointing. It seems to cut short what was had hoped would take longer in explanation and description. It is difficult to explain without giving too much information away. But then again there are surprises in store for the readers that they could have never expected. Readers are highly encouraged to add this thrilling fantasy, Evil Wind by Charlotte Boyett-Compo to their reading list. It is a keeper with the rest in the series that will be read again and again.
