| Liz & Dale have been best friends and inseparable for eight years. Liz is a small town country girl who’s followed her goals and is making it big in The Big Apple. Dale has been in love with her from day one, but knows she was hurt in the past and that she avoids relationships. After finding out that Liz has been sleeping with their boss for some time now, Dale decides that he’s had enough and is going to make his move. It’s a test of wills to see if Dale is persistent enough to will Liz over despite her obstinacies.
What small town girl doesn’t dream of living life in the big city? Not to mention having a best friend that’s a hunk. I enjoyed this story immensely. The byplay between Liz and Dale is hilarious and sucks you in right away. The supporting characters are credible and really add to the hilarity of Dale and Liz’s story. You will not be able to stop reading until you’ve read it all. I could not put this book down. Ms. Roth knows how to amaze readers with stunningly arousing and sensual love scenes. These two set the sheets, or I guess I should say the bathroom floor, on fire. The scenes are pretty explicit and in your face, but completely on fire. This story will have you laughing, upset, stressed-out, confused, and feeling loved right along with the characters. The emotions in Executive Decision are so realistic that it feels like you are one of the characters and are going through the story yourself. All in all, Executive Decision is a great read with colorful characters and full of emotion. It will keep you on the edge of your seat when you are not rolling on the floor laughing or quietly crying. You may want to grab a fan or sit by the window to keep yourself from overheating while reading the love scenes!
