A week ago Jac's life was in complete order. That is until she returns from a business trip, checks her answering machine and hears the screams of her friend Rachel. Then the line goes dead. After several calls Jac finds out that Professor Donald returned from the expedition without Rachel. With the exception of Brigit, the third member of their little group, no one was too concerned over one missing museum employee. Jac knows it's up to her to find Rachel.

A few days later Jac is up to her neck in mosquitoes and wild animals. And not just the four-legged kind. Jac and the crew she hired are attacked by a group of cutthroat's... She is rescued by a Tarzan wanna-be who cuts her loose, throws her over his shoulder and runs into the jungle. Jac's heart hasn't stopped pounding since she laid eyes on this jungle man. Who is he and why can't she stop thinking about his well-built body? Worst of all she can't stop thinking about how she'd like to run her hands... Oh no, she wasn't going to go there.

The moment Ares sees Jac he knows she's the one he's been waiting for. She's his mate. Queen Rachel had sent Ares to get Jac and bring her back safely, but Ares knew he would have to keep her with him until he could make Jac see she was his.

Jac doesn't know if things have made a turn for the better or if she has gone from the frying pan into the fire. She wonders if he knows Rachel and if so, if he would he take her to her friend. Jac doesn't realize that life as she knows it is about to change forever.

I enjoyed this story so much. I was swept away by Jac and Ares. Jordan Summers has written a wounderful story that touches the heart and soul of a romance reader. From the first page to the last, you'll be drawn into a world full of passion, love, betrayal, and jealously. I was so tuned into the emotions of Jac and Ares that I felt as if I were there. I read this story twice just so I could feel the passion and love all over again. I recommend this book with total belief that you will not only be swept away by it, you'll be begging for more. I give this story five hearts. Enjoy!
