Lauren Donovan has a fantasy list that’s pretty exotic for an actuary dealing with risk every day. She knows poker is a good way to have a chance to win money at the casino. But she didn't know it was also a great way to meet a man willing to help her with those fantasies. Truman Roosevelt Madison has a big name to live up to whether he’s using the whole moniker or just his nickname ‘Tru.’ Too bad her ex fiancé is off his meds and doing all he can to keep them from doing anything together.

Barrie Abalard is quickly becoming one of those must read authors. When I’m looking for great characters who know a lot about eroticism, have a sense of humor and can solve tough problems she gives me just what I need. Lauren is one of those characters. She has one of those self deprecating senses of humor afraid to dream too big. Tru is an innovative kind of guy who isn’t afraid to woo his woman for the pleasure of them both.

And then we have the nasty Mickey. The author lets him have the cop out of being off his meds to excuse the vile things he does to the couple. But she still shows us he had some skill to plan and carry out his deeds.

This is one of those books that is well crafted with a wealth of fun and erotic scenarios. The dialogue between Tru and Lauren is priceless, especially when their feelings get a little more intense than just casual sex. Every page is full of the kinds of things I love in a story making it a great read.
