Travis is not only the head of a security firm but is also Tyr the Norse god of Justice. Jamie Grimm is the daughter of Thor and granddaughter of Odin. Odin is now known as the tycoon Oliver Grimm and he is desperate to hold onto his throne. He has recently kidnapped and tortured Jamie and Travis must claim and protect her.

Fans of Norse mythology will really get the characters in this story. Those not so familiar will enjoy the story but benefit from reading a little more about the characters in their previous guises. Jamie is my favorite type of heroine, she is feisty, a little naive, and very much in love with the hero. Travis is a flawed hero physically since he is missing a hand and loses his vision in times of extreme emotion, but he is one of the most appealing characters in the series so far. The plot of this story is exciting and fast moving. The characters are well developed and very well researched. I loved this book, and even though it stands alone very well, I highly recommend reading the first story also. It provides a little more background and is just as entertaining. I can't wait to see what Ms. Bell comes up with next.
