In the aftermath, Blue receives disturbing news concerning his father and brother. Iris McGillis, a shape shifter, cares less about people and more about her cats. The two emotionally four-hundred pound cats are her family and don’t like being separated from her. When Blue finds a way to the circus in hopes of locating his brother, he meets Iris, and a heated attraction ensues. But someone sinister may disrupt any plans for the two.
Eye of Heaven is an action-packed read with thrills and chills that keep the reader on the edge of the seat. What starts as an explosive beginning continues throughout the book, never slowing down and certainly not letting the reader lose any interest. The characters of Blue and Iris are well-developed and their romance is like a stick of dynamite in itself. By throwing in a third party, it makes their passion even more electrifying. Marjorie M. Liu blends just about everything in this thrilling read. Action, romance, intrigue, and a plot that is wonderful, this is one exhilarating tale that comes highly recommended.
