| In a moment of weakness, the Hieromancer tried to kill Elodan to gain power but simply trapped him between worlds. Realizing he wasn't going to escape limbo by his own means, Eldoan fell into a confined slumber. Five decades later, he's awakened by the longing of the young Sasha. Even though Sasha is new to The Order and just starting to learn how to use her new abilities, she's a powerful summoner that releases him from his prison. Now that Elodan has been released, he has to explain to Sasha that everything she's learned about The Order and him has been a lie. He only hopes that he can prove to Sasha everything he knows is the real truth, and she will not reject him.
Sasha knew she shouldn't be having sins of pleasure, but she also couldn't help but think about the ghost in her room. Even though Sasha has learned from The Order that she should feel shame, she feels like something in her has finally come to life. All of Sasha's life she had heard the story of the Dark Mage and the Hag, but the story believed by everyone was that Arath, their leader, has killed the Dark Mage after torturing him. Now on the night of his downfall celebration, she figures out she has summoned him back to their world! Eyes of Glass is very well written and Raven Li's imagination shines through page after page. I was a bit disappointed with the beginning of the story, but it didn't take long to understand what Li was trying to accomplish and from there the story really took off and gained a lot of depth.
