| Keely Walsh uncovers a secret trap planned against her brother, who is a private security specialist on a mission in Argentina for the US Government. She knows her other brothers will not be able to get to him in time, so she makes plans to go warn him herself. In the process, she battles kidnappers, the jungle, insects, mercenaries, and US spies. Oh, and meeting her brother's boss, Ren Maddox, who just might be the one man capable of teaching Miss Keely Walsh a thing or two.
It may sound like an unbelievable and comical blurb but the author pulls off a great story with action, adventure, and romance. Most of us will have a hard time believing Keely is capable of pulling off all the feats she accomplished in the book. However, the story is so well written with quick pacing and engaging characters that the pages flow quickly. Keely has it all, looks, brains, and attitude, but her feminine body doesn't respond well in dry humid climates resulting in low blood sugar. Her delicacy feeds the alpha men around her into becoming overprotective. Luckily for her, her mom has taught her a thing or two about how to handle her five older brothers, and she employs the same tricks with Ren. I loved the interaction between Keely and her family and how they all rallied around one another in times of need. Especially fun is how Ren is knocked for a loop when he meets Keely, and how she keeps him on his toes throughout the book. Her actions were always unexpected to him. I can't wait to read the next book in this series!
