| This book is A Woodland Church Bonus Story. It fits with the other books we've read of this group of believers. It was just a glimpse of what was going on in that wonderful small town church. It was a riveting manuscript with an amazing storyline. Ms. Marianne Evans has once again grabbed my attention with her newest book and I absolutely could not put it down.
Paul Hutchins was a reporter for WWJ Radio in Metro Detroit. His boss, Sandy Pierson, was also the love of his life. There was something wrong between them. Sandy loved Paul and the feeling was mutual. However, Sandy was a devoted believer in Jesus Christ. Paul was scientific minded and believed only in things he could prove. That, of course, screamed of “unequally yoked” together—a command our Lord gave believers. This means that we aren't to marry an unbeliever. Paul was assigned to interview a missionary artist who did chalk renderings. Sandy requested his review because she wanted him subjected to her "Surrendering to Christ An Artist's View of Salvation & Grace." Sandy prayed it would make a difference. Would this do any good after the intensely unbelieving interview before her art show? This life-changing event was direct and quite unbelievable. The incredible attitude of this young woman, after her harrowing interview just prior to her presentation, almost made her change her mind about what to do. It was both impressive and passionate how the chalk in Mary's hands told more than one story—depending upon who was watching. I can't say much more or it will definitely spoil the plot and give away the awesome ending. These characters were incredible with attitudes to match. The storyline was so powerful it was forceful. The pages were short, but the story was concentrated. The depth of knowledge was so well told it was almost impossible to put the book down. I love this book and think others will too. The plan of salvation is spelled out, but the story goes beyond any one person's testimony. It is something I highly recommend that you read and share with all your friends.
