Let me start out by saying that Face of Submission is not for the faint at heart. There is man on man sex, and a rape scene in this story that is pretty graphic. This is an interesting story, with lots of nuances that keep you reading. It starts out light and loving, but gets very dark in the middle. The sex is at times loving, and other times brutal. The characters didn't seem to be very well developed, but the story wasn't really about them as much as betrayal of trust. You are drawn in to their world, not really believing what will happen. It is definitely worth a look, and if you can take the dark side of the story you will find yourself thinking about a dominant and submissive relationship in a different way when you are done reading.
