| When Danice Carter encounters a mysterious man at a bar with pointed ears and long blonde hair, she writes him off as a weirdo who's just come from a Tolkien convention. The stranger, who gives his name as Jack, is intrigued by her. He tells her that he can make her fantasies come true using his magic. Convinced he's a weirdo at that point, Danice leaves the bar and heads home alone.
Sexual stirrings color her dreams, dreams fade into reality and Danice is treated to a slow, sensual loving like nothing she has ever experienced. The only problem is that when she awakes she discovered that she's not home but in a strange hotel room. And with a gorgeous man who she's never seen before. Neither of them know how they came to be there, though Mac, her mysterious new lover, has an idea for he is only half human, a changeling. Faer Fetched is an imaginative story with good characterization and expertly written sensual scenes. I was impressed with how easily the author built her world where humans and all manner of creatures coexisted and enjoyed my time there. I would enjoying seeing similar stories from Ms. Warren, her writing is excellent.
