| Kelsey is the Executive Director of Sophie’s Wings, a charity. It provides food, clothing, and other things to people in need. So she doesn’t have the time, or the money, to do much for herself. One night while exercising, a ball of light floats into her room and bursts, forming a man. A very sexy man in a bright orange, satin suit. His name is Sebastian, and he is her Faerie Guardian. But the thing is, Sebastian has never had an adult charge. They’re not even supposed to be able to see him. Yet, Kelsey does. Sebastian goes back to headquarters to try and figure out what happened, but while they sort out what happened, he’s to stay with Kelsey. It turns out to be a plus for them both, especially Kelsey. She’d been wanting a hot man around to share her fantasies with, and Sebastian is the perfect candidate.
Fairy Godlover was highly sexual. Between bouts of sex, Kelsey and Sebastian got to know each other, leading to romance. It was a good combination. Most of the sexual antics between the characters were very hot, as sizzling as any erotic romance can get. But sometimes, perhaps because I have trouble seeing two people exploring various sexual scenarios without knowing and trusting each other for some time, their escapades seemed a little too explicit. Sebastian was both sexy and a rather caring hero, in the sense that he tried to give Kelsey a sense of acceptance and consideration. The ending was pretty sweet, and I look forward to Gina & Gabe’s story. Overall, I really enjoyed the story, though it was more about sex than romance. The witty comments, and overall humorous tone, made Fairy Godlover not only a likeable story, but a reread.
