This short story packs a punch. I was intrigued right from the start. Mandy is a woman who has kept her real self-hidden for a long time and is in need of help. Peter is a strong man with a wild streak who is willing to give Mandy the help that she needs. The instant attraction between Peter and Mandy was a good read. It was nice to see Mandy begin to trust Peter and let some of her inhibitions go. They make a wonderful couple and I would love to revisit these two and see just where their relationship takes them.

This book is number three in the series but can be read as a stand-alone. Ava Delany does a wonderful job of pulling the reader into the sensual world that is created in these books. Even in these short stories the reader can feel the depth and emotions of the characters. If you have not read the others in this series this story surely will send you in search of them. I know that I am eagerly awaiting the next in this series myself.
