I loved this story. Once I began reading, I found myself unable to stop until I reached those two magic words: The End. Ms. Elsborg has a way of writing that makes her characters seem three-dimensional, as though they were real and in the same room with me. It seemed as though I was there, with Jo and Alek, living through everything with them. I could quite easily see myself being there, wanting to be there even.

Not only would I be willing to read this story again, I intend to do so, several times. This is one of those books that will forever stay in the "To Be Read" file. As a matter of fact, I actually read it twice before writing this review. I intend to recommend this book to many of my friends (have already done so with a couple of them), and when I do so, I will be quite vocal about just how much I liked it.
