Stan Ryan loves to run. He does it every morning. This morning, however, he heads out for his run and sees a new neighbor moving in. He goes over and offers to help, flirts a little once he learns Rachel Hartman also enjoys a daily morning run, and they make plans to run together. One thing leads to another, and they end up with a bet. If Stan can catch Rachel, he can have her. In his bed.

I enjoyed this story, but was a little disappointed it wasn't more erotic. Though the publisher has this listed as erotic, there isn't any sex until three quarters of the way through the story. I was also a little disappointed because as I read the story, I thought the heroine was going to turn out to have supernatural powers, and she didn't. She's just a faster runner than Stan. I thought it would have been cool if she was like her friends. Instead I felt sorry for slow poke Stan.

I would definitely be up to reading about Rachel's friends, Leah and Victor if the author has paranormal stories in this world.
