|Music was the one thing in MG Carmody's life that made her happy until she followed her dreams all the way to Nashville only to have it all crash and burn. After inheriting her grandfather's chicken farm, she's getting her life back on track if only she can keep up with the mortgage payments.
Joe LeBlanc runs a tight kitchen, but things aren't happening according to his plans at the moment. He needs a prep cook, plus he's got a devious thief among his employees that he needs to discover the identity of before all his ideas for the upcoming cooking competition end up in the wrong hands.
I love Ms. Benjamin's books and this one was an absolute delight to read. Fearless Love was captivating from the beginning that I found it hard to put down even for a second. The dialogue was easy to follow and had me laughing at times, especially when MG was having problems with the chickens. The sex scenes were filled with lots of passion and illustrated how compatible MG and Joe were. What I liked so much about MG was that she didn't allow her past in the music industry to affect her future and that she was willing to give singing another go. While with Joe, I liked that he supported her through the trials and tribulations she faced at work and her music.
In conclusion, this Konigsburg series is a great one and even though this is the seventh book in it and can be read as a stand-alone, I would recommend that readers start with the first book – Venus in Blue Jeans.
