Workaholic Jackson Castillo has no desire to go on a date with one of Evangeline's clients but reluctantly agrees to help out his friend, Eve, with the proviso he doesn't sleep with his friend's client. One look at Leah, and Jackson is lost. All his good intentions fly out the window.

Leah takes one look at the man 1NightStand owner Madame Eve promised will give her a night of passion so she can finally leave the past and memories of her late fiancé behind. But she's not prepared for the sinfully sexual man who turns up.

To Feel Again is part of the 1NightStand series. To open a short story with a prologue is unusual, but Ms. Mann does it very well in To Feel Again. She uses sarcasm and wit to introduce her hero, Jackson Castillo, to the reader while also filling in the background of both her hero, and heroine, Leah.

So many authors of short stories concentrate on detailing the sensual sexual scenes to the detriment of the emotional conflict happening between the hero and heroine. Not so with Ms. Mann. The author balances story line and sexual content with skill and a finesse that enhances rather than detracts from the story. By the end of the story Jackson, has had a complete turn-around and it's the way he goes about achieving his goal that will send a sigh of contentment through every one of Ms. Mann's readers.

This may be a short story, but don't be fooled, it is a fully-formed and captivating read.
