| Solara is betrothed to a man she doesn't want to marry, but knows she must. The fiery desire she feels for Roarke is a feeling she has been fighting for a long time. She knows however that a relationship between them can never be. After a particularly sensual interlude, Solara leaves knowing her feelings for Roarke are too strong to resist. After she returns, she knows she can't go on with her plans to marry a man she doesn't love. Can she convince Roarke that they are meant to be together?
Roarke has wanted Solara since he can remember even though he knows she is promised to someone else. The attraction between them is strong and he is resisting to the best of his ability, but doesn't know how long he can hold out. When Solara disappears, he realizes he is tired of fighting fate, but knows he has made a promise to protect her and nothing more. She tests his will on a daily basis and is making it hard for him to resist her. In the end will she be able to break his will? Fiery Fate is a great book with a great story line that will keep you turning the pages. Solara is torn between doing what's right and what her heart wants. Roarke knows that Solara is meant to be his but fights his own will to keep his word and not submit to his desires. The sexual tension is so thick between them you could cut it with a knife and the sex is hot and intense. Jaci Burton is a great author with an excellent reputation and this is just another great book to add to her collection.
