| Seven women have joined together to fight crime. They're just extraordinary women who have the support of some powerful friends all over the world. This time the ladies of the Sisterhood and the men who support them are called on to deal with corruption in Las Vegas. A childhood friend needs help to rescue her estranged daughter from the criminal element in the city that never sleeps. After a brief foray to help insure that the right man gets selected as the next director of the FBI they head to Vegas.
Fern Michaels crafts a story that never has a dull moment. Disappearing Ninjas play a big role in making sure of the appointment of Kathryn's beau to head the FBI. Their good friend Lizzie Fox has several adventures of her own when she falls in lust with an unusual attorney. Her way of showing her attraction and interest? Wrecking his million dollar vehicles. Annie proves her prowess with a gun when she takes out a rattler at one hundred yards in the midst of bemoaning that she can¡t find any rhinestone cowboy boots. This is only a small part of the fun. For those who like Vegas we get to taste some of the glitter as the girls check out the casino that seems to be the center for criminal activity. There are some truly emotional moments. Lizzie talks about life without a mother in her attempt to help Marble Rose and her mom get back together again. Adoption papers are finalized for Annie to be able to adopt all of the girls of the sisterhood. This book is full of great friendships, hilarity, moments of rule bending, and dialogue that will have you laughing out loud as the girls take down some villains who didn¡t think they could be beaten. The author makes this one of the best books I've read for a long time.
