| Danny and Paul are best friends. Despite wanting to be more than friend to Paul, Danny never tried anything. First because of Eve, Paul's girlfriend, and second because he didn't believe that Paul felt attracted to him. But this situation changed when, at a party, Danny finds Paul in a session with a Domme. After leaving the party with Paul, Danny meet the submissive side of Paul and realizes that there is an attraction between them.
Finding Eden is the prequel to Beyond Eden. Unlike Beyond Eden which is a menage (m/m/f), Finding Eden is m/m romance and tells the story of how the relationship between Danny and Paul began. Although Beyond Eden is one of my favorite books, I'm not lying when I say that I was anxious to see how Danny and Paul became lovers. They deserved to have a book just for them. Finding Eden took my breath away. The story is well written and engaging. The main characters are more developed. And the author has done it again, engaging the reader in the story. During my reading, I was totally immersed in the story as to ignore the world around me. In this book, the reader gets to know more about Danny and Paul's characters. Both had a troubled family life (Danny with an alcoholic and controller father and Paul suffering abuse from his father and brothers). Danny and Paul responded differently to the abuse. Danny rebelled against his father and now he can't keep a steady job and developed OCD. Paul passed to enjoy pain. He developed a huge tolerance for pain that he extends to the edge of danger. As I said earlier, in Finding Eden we can follow how Danny and Paul go from friends to lovers (or Master / sub). For those planning to read the book, a warning: Paul is a masochist with a high tolerance for pain and some scenes in the book can be uncomfortable for some. But the story is worth it.
