Julie Wilson became a relationship guru sensation after her book was published. The Fine Art of Kissing not only sells like hotcakes, but puts Julie in BIG demand, especially to Brad O’Malley, star of television’s O’Malley’s Corner, which seems to be falling in the ratings. She had refused to appear on his show because of his harsh tactics. He confronted her at a book signing and, of course, the sparks flew!

These two had hurtful background relationships which clearly affected the way each viewed love, romance, and commitment. Brad’s ex-wife was a subject he would absolutely not discuss; Julie’s past was so heart wrenching that she shied away from any possibility of getting hurt again. Why, then, did sparks ignite every time the two of them were around each other?

When Julie and Brad begin working together on his show, it soon became apparent that Julie was grabbing the attention. On her first show, she admitted to him that in doing her research on the book, she had kissed 100 men. That infuriated him, not because she said it, but because he was imagining it!

I really loved this novel. I liked the interest the couple each held inside. The fact that they were attracted to each other, but were afraid to show feelings to the other, just proves that past harms could remain for ages. Both Julie and Brad had outside friends and certainly did not have to pursue friendship to eliminate loneliness. However, the two were so drawn to each other that, even their longtime friends could not eradicate the need for their attraction to envelop them.

Ms. Chernow has an ability to express feelings and actions without excessive wordiness. She is an incredible author whom I would recommend to anyone! The beginning incident in the book is attention-grabbing and the following actions just kept getting better.
