| This is the fourth book in Triskelion's Operation: Pleiades series. Set in the not-too-distant future, this series is the story of seven girls kidnapped years ago and given abilities that could help alien forces over take the world. Now that they are grown women, their powers are starting to mature. Mythos is an organization that is trying to work against these aliens, the Anaz-voohri, to stop them in their tracks. But it seems that even the world's governments are working against Mythos, and quite possibly for the aliens. Fire Storm is the story of Ally Curran and Hunter Kent.
Hunter Kent, aka Ajax, is a Mythos agent. He has no past that he can remember, and lives for daredevil excitement. Being a Mythos agent is all he knows. When his assignment, Ally, comes into the picture, with her innocent ideas and her naiveté, he wants her safe and sound… and in his bed. But keeping her safe will be harder than he thought. Dr. Ally Curran works as a scientist for a governmental organization called ORION. She has uncovered information that reveals that ORION is actually working with the Anaz-voohri. She decides that her life is more important than her work and reveals herself to Mythos. What she doesn't know is that she is one of the Pleiades Sisters, and now her life will never be the same. She sees Agent Hunter as everything she isn't - she likes rules and structure and the belief that everyone is kind, while Agent Hunter has a devil-may-care attitude and is suspicious of everyone. They will both learn a great deal about each other in trying to keep alive. Ms. Denee brings a deft touch to the series. Hunter has a hard-edge with a good sense of humor and mischievousness to him. Ally is naïve but willing to find the answers that lie within herself and face up to them. Together they are unstoppable and altogether human. This is a great addition to a truly suspenseful and romantic series.
