Atria Moline and Zac Frost feel attracted to each other, but neither have made a move -- until Atria is in trouble. Zac will become her protector and will try to convince her that they can be much more than friends. Will she let go of her fears about hurting him and accept that they do belong together? Will an enemy who will stop at nothing to make her his destroy their love?

I enjoyed this paranormal romance story. I liked the interaction between Atria and Zac. I could almost feel the sexual tension between them. They had known each other for eight years and had felt attracted to each other from the very beginning. Yet each of them had reasons for not getting involved. That all changes when her life is in danger and he realizes that he might lose her forever. I felt a little sorry for Atria because she wanted to be with him, but was afraid that she could end up hurting him or worse killing him. Zac proved her wrong because he knew that they were meant to be together. The love scenes between them are melting hot. This story contains very explicit love scenes and language.
