Fireworks & Independence is a cute and funny short read. It is a great quickie read that will have you smiling the rest of the day. The flirting between Dani and Cody is adorable. Ms. Hammond did a wonderful job in showing how great young love can be and how strong it truly is. Love at first site is not a concept that too many people believe in these days, but this story will have you believing in love at first site again. This short read includes all the necessary elements of an entertaining story. There are memorable characters, an engaging plot, and lots of fun times. If you enjoy light contemporary romance that will leave you with a smile on your face, this is definitely the book for you. It is short enough you can read it while drinking your morning coffee and it will have you looking forward to the rest of your day.
