Set within our own world but with delightful fantasy overtones and with a generous and clever sense of pulse-pounding anticipation and suspense the readers is literally thrown into the plot and held captive by the riveting danger. Kissa and Venor are bold, dynamic and incredibly alive characters and reader's will feel and believe their sensual and alarming adventure. The well-developed characters exhibit a depth of personality, moral fiber and emotion that works well to enhance the story to extraordinary levels. The battle of wits between Kissa and Venor will keep readers engaged and the numerous surprises works to keep the story fresh. Each mate claiming between the lovers is passionate, raw, untamed and emotional. By weaving the compelling secondary characters in throughout the story works wonderfully to enhance the action as well as the hero and heroine.

Ms. Modo not only wraps up the story but gives readers a little teaser for the second book in this fantastic new series from this very talented author.
