Lisa was a widow who lived and worked in her apartment. She was working in the middle of the night because she couldn’t sleep. She couldn’t sleep because she needed human contact—her brand new plastic toy had not lived up to her expectations. When she smelled smoke she grabbed her coat and threw it over her sleep shirt and joined the neighbors outside.

Lieutenant Brad Pittsburgh, due to a debilitating work injury, had transferred to arson investigation. This was the first time he had been alone to examine the source of the apartment fire. The first thing he noticed was the beautiful woman who obviously had on very few clothes. When he found the apparent cause of the fire, he asked to see the tenant. It was Lisa. When she came in, he was holding her “toy” in his hand.

Trixie Stilletto has presented us with a well-written, very fast-paced story. This is definitely not a book for the faint of heart. However, it is an interesting tale of two people who connect quickly. Her characters were very likeable and believable. Though they heated up instantly, there was a storyline woven throughout the book. It was not just a sex story. Emotionally charged, it was an attention grabber. I couldn’t put the book down.

I recommend this book to all who like graphic sensuality that is still in great taste. You will enjoy it I’m sure.
