Jordan Dane was a registered collector for the Galactic Protectorate who transported dangerous criminals in stasis tubes from the outer colonies to the Galactic Hub for trial. Sienna McCade was accused of murdering thirty people. The stasis tube malfunctioned and she woke with no oxygen. She would have died had not unmarked black ships attacked the Valkyrie, crashing the ship on one of the moons of Galatia. She found Jordan bleeding to death in the cockpit. She saved his life and stayed with him to nurse him through his fever. They were marooned together on this primitive planet with no technology for another twenty days before the supply ship was scheduled to arrive. It was an idyllic existence. They fell in love despite their struggle to fight it. Sienna could no longer remember how they’d gotten on the planet. She kept forgetting more and more. When her neck began to bleed, the native doctors found an implanted neural block that had been banned many years ago. Once it was removed and she recovered from the infection and fever, she remembered everything. She remembered who really killed the thirty council members and betrayed her – Consul David Sheridan. He’d joined forces with an off world guerilla group that were heartless killers. He planned to set himself up as ruler. She’d loved him and he’d used her to take the fall for him. She had no choice but to go back and try to stop him. Jordan was determined to help her but he knew they stood very little chance of success.

Flight Of The Valkyrie by Jennifer Colgan is a dynamic love story, taut with suspense, intrigue, betrayal and true love marked by the hottest love making imaginable. Ms. Colgran has truly outdone herself with this one. I wasn’t able to put it down. The sexual tension as well as the suspenseful tension kept me awake and reading to the end. The heroine wasn’t the type to hide out on a primitive planet, no matter how pleasant, and let the villain get away with his evil schemes. Our hero wasn’t the type to let her face it alone, even though his soldier’s training told him they couldn’t win. Don’t miss this exciting adventure. Its one you’ll want to read again and again.
