Laura had made the decision and it was final. Whether her husband liked it or not, they were going to try to make their marriage better or else she was leaving. The Flintstone Experiment seemed like a good idea to her. Getting her husband to dominate her and control her instead of doing what she wanted would make her happy. Why couldn't he understand that?

I found this book okay. It didn't really keep me interested because I found Laura contrary and Rick a decoration needed to keep Laura happy. She insisted that she wanted him to be in control and tell her what to do, but yet at home in their own environment she controlled every aspect of their relationship. She never even asked him if he was happy or not. Laura is a very selfish character, and I feel that she didn't grow at all in that respect. Rick was given the opportunity to make her happy and give her what she wanted, but I have no idea if it is even what he wanted.

They kept calling each other Fred and Wilma and she wanted her husband to take control and dominate her like Fred did Wilma. Well, I watched the Flintstones growing up and I've watched them more recently with my children. Fred might be loud and blustery, but he is not the one in charge at home. I can't see Fred tying up Wilma when they don't even share the same bed. The Caveman Experiment might have been a better title.
