| Esa has been coerced into a flirting type date by her sister, Rachel, and her best friend, Carla. She goes along with the plan just to keep Carla out of trouble, but once she spots a well toned construction worker, she's in for a more personal reason. When she realizes said hunk has mistaken her for a sex kitten, she decides to pretend to be something she's not. Finn is attracted to Esa but he's on the rebound from his social climbing ex fiance.
I'll have to admit that when I first started reading this book I was disappointed because I thought it was going to be all about the sex and not the relationship. I was pleasantly relieved and excited as I continued reading to find a great story with the relationship fully developed. I loved how we got to know Esa throughout the whole book by the author giving us little insights to her character. I immediately liked Finn -- he is a strong male character with some of the traits I love best in a hero. He is family oriented and has a strong sense of right and wrong. I loved his huge family who are so close and loving and bring another dimension to the story without overpowering Finn and Esa. The story flowed smoothly, from the intense sex to the gradual relationship developing between Finn and Esa and how they handled their careers. I would hope the author has plans to write stories for the supporting characters from this book.
