| Two stories packed into one.
A Fool's Fool by Sandra Marshall Jason Barrone is great with his employees, and really likes his assistant Kathy. However, when his assistant complains about his best friend being too much of a prankster, he believes he has to choose who to keep employed at his company. Until he takes a chance on getting closer to Kathy, and getting his friend to find a woman of his own. This was a brilliant short story about a woman becoming involved with her boss, though she'd had a bad experience in the past with another boss. It was all based around April Fools, and after joking for the first part of the day, the storyline progressed superbly with the dialogue very teasing between Kathy and Jason in stages. Both characters were brilliant, and although Kathy was reluctant at first to get involved with her boss, it was good to see everything work out for her in the end.
Remembering Andy by Sandra Sookoo After his brother's death six months prior, Daniel Sorenson finds himself wandering through Military Park. Checking out what all the hype is about where a woman was receiving the keys to the city for the day, a stranger plants her hands on him to stop herself from falling. The woman in question is none other than the woman he loves, Claudia, the very woman that was supposed to be marrying his brother before he died. Remembering Andy was an extremely good book about two people finding each other again after losing contact with each other because they'd lost a loved one. The plot was excellent, and I'm glad that these two finally found each other again, because they were such a great couple. The dialogue really pulled me in, as they both agreed to help each other find closure because Daniel never got to say goodbye to Andy before he died. Since they weren't on very good speaking terms because of Andy's engagement to Claudia. As for the individual characters, I liked how they walked down memory lane talking about all the trouble they got into in the past, and how much Andy was a part of it. Overall, both stories were fantastic since they were all about having fun with jokes and how everyone loves to play them. They're worth a read, especially if you love a good laugh.
