She does a superb, erotic job insuring their love comes to pass and that the evil Mikkril and his followers are punished.

With even more magic, wit and the strength in her writing she brings together Mara, Kiril and Mikkarn in Forbidden 2: Neighborhood Watch. Kiril and Mikkarn have been friends their whole lives. They didn’t think there was more to it until they found out Mara could be soul mate to both of them. In a great piece of writing the author gets them to realize they are also soul mates, that’s the only way it will work.

Taber, an earth soldier, rescues Akahana from her abusive mate in Forbidden 3: Sleeping With the Enemy. Ms. Karland brings back soul mates from the first two tales to help them. In this book they are challenged and, like in book two, they have to prove that they are soul mates at the Chamber of Souls in the Temple Beyond. Their challenger has a lot of tricks up his sleeve but Ms. Karland has even more to combat his evil.

In Forbidden 4: New Beginnings we have just that. The second generation of Gothe’maran and human soul mates with even tougher rules and morals to combat.

These are all sexy, erotic and moving tales of love. In each challenges are faced by some powerful characters, both men and women. Even though the guys think the girls are the weaker sex they’re proven wrong again and again. Such fun!!

Marteeka Karland, as always, serves up a page burner of lust and romance..

Even without the eroticism her tales would be an excellent use of dialogue, phrasing and all that literary stuff. With it we have stories that sizzle both our minds and our fantasies!!
