Mia Rose Curry and her friend Karalee are professors at San Francisco State University. Both have gotten themselves involved with men who seem to play into their most exotic fantasies. Jagger James is Mia's student in her popular class on alternative sexuality. As a student he should be out of reach no matter how attractive. Karalee is involved with Gideon, a fellow professor who loves sex in places where there's a risk of discovery. All four seem to be involved in situations which could lead to a cataclysmic life change that they don't know if they can cope with.

Eden Bradley has given us one of those complex stories with sex on almost every page but it also has a depth not always found in such eroticism. Mia's life with her addicted mother is touched on many times. Her first and only real love Ben died when their life was just beginning. Jagger's pursuit of her threatens her life in many ways. Ms. Bradley does such an exceptional job building Mia's story. In my experience a book so filled with eroticism doesn't usually have the sensitivity that this author uses in building the relationship with Jagger. The author gives us a story that lets them meet their deepest fantasies while also helping to resolve long buried pain.

Karalee and Gideon seem to have everything each could ever want but in their case it's Gideon who has an almost insurmountable pain in his past to cope with. Karalee has been proud of her ability to love 'em and leave 'em but she really doesn't know if she can do that with Gideon.

It's so great to have authors who are able to put real human stories into fiction and show us how they are able to work with one another. They're not just four pretty faces and hot bodies. Ms. Bradley gives them humanity as well as sexuality. I think many people will be able to relate in some way to these characters and find this a great book.
