| Tarrant Arragon, Imperial Crown Prince, First War-Star leader of the Thirteen Star Forces and Lord Prosecutor of the Tigron Empire had a problem. His future Queen didn't want him. She is the last known virgin Djinni in the universe. His entire Kingdom rested on the success of their union. He wouldn't give her any choice in the matter. But Tarrant never expected to like his mate. She is a means to an end. Yet the more Tarrant sees and talks to her the more fascinated with her he becomes.
Djinni-Vera is the daughter of a rogue Djinni and a clairvoyant English woman. She is also a Saurian White Knight, sworn to the pretender to the crown and betrothed to him as well. Known only to her as Jason or his secret identity J. J. Djinni has been kept a secret all these years She has been taught that Tarrant Arragon is a tyrant, a cruel leader who used and raped women to his own satisfaction. Djinni had heard the stories about Tarrant's taste in foreplay. When J.J. took over the Kindom, Tarrant would learn what true justice is. So when Djinni finds herself in the arms of her worst enemy, what's a girl to do but fight? But, as time goes by, Djinni hears and sees things that leave her confused as to the real person Tarrant is. She learns that what she has been taught all her life just may have been lies. Djinni refuses to believe that her father and the leader of the Saurian Knights would be so dishonorable. What reason would he have for lying against Tarrant? Djetthro-Jason, aka J. J, is Tarrant's cousin and he will stop at nothing to take Tarrant's crown away. He has kept Djinni hidden for seventeen years and he would not let Tarrant have her. Jason plans to take Djinni and the thrown. If he gets to kill Tarrant in the process, that wouldn't cause Jason any hardship. Rowena Beaumont Cherry has written a world full of seven-foot men, who are powerful as well as strong and handsome and women with the power of clairvoyance and the will to survive. It's a beautiful and strange world; with a mixture of a futuristic world verses humans, where Djinni rules supreme. Djinni finds herself drawn to Tarrant, no matter how hard she tries to fight it. Tarrant has his work cut out for him, when he learns that Djinni not only hates him, but also has an unnatural dislike for sex. I found a lot of humor in the story as well. Wait until you find out how the enemy passes messages. You will laugh until it hurts. You will meet Grievous, an English chauffer, who befriends Tarrant and Djinni. The entire story is very exciting and you'll love the characters. Be sure to get a copy and step into a different world of fantasy and love. Enjoy!
