Silver Cuffs by Kate Hill
Pierce has bought an old home called Whittle House and plans to tear it down and build a condo complex. He has one problem in the form of Tabatha from the historical society who wants to claim the place as a historical landmark. There are rumors that Samuel, the man who owned it was a werewolf and still haunts the place. Imagine his surprise when Pierce goes to look and winds up being thrust back into time as Samuel who really is a werewolf and his love Maggie who is really Tabatha. Will living in the life of Samuel and feeling his love for his servant Maggie change Pierce's mind?

Silver Cuffs is a wonderful story about the power of love that just happens to include a werewolf. Tabatha is determined to save Whittle House no matter what, she thinks that talking to the owner Pierce will her him to understand her cause. She has a strong will and uses it on every hand. Pierce is very stubborn and does not want to be reasonable, but when he is sent back to walk in Samuel's shoes, he sees the light. Tabatha and Pierce find out that true love knows no boundaries. This is definitely one to keep on the shelf.

Shadow Time Lover by R. Casteel
Zolona is the last virgin female in her family is to be sacrificed to the beast. Filip is the beast that must take her virginity on and knows that in his beast form he can be deadly. Filip has been cursed and this was the only way to break it, but there was also a dangerous consequence. In order to break the curse he has to pass it on to someone else and that someone seems to be Zolona. Filip feels responsible so decides to stay with her in order to help her, but how will she feel when she finds out whom he really is? Can the curse be broken or will Zolona have to spend the rest of her life as part beast?

I loved this story and was so interested I couldn't put it down until I finished it. Zolona is the innocent party that gets trapped into a curse and now has to deal with it. Filip is the tortured hero who wanted to get rid of the curse he was under, but had no idea he would be passing it on to someone else. The paranormal aspect is excellent and the story really touches you. I look forward to seeing what R. Casteel will come up with next.

A Matter Of Duty by Elizabeth Jewell
Piper and Trey have been married for two years and their sex life is still burning up the sheets. The only thing that's missing in her life is a child, but that is impossible with Trey since he is a shape shifter and can only have children with someone of his own species. An interesting situation presents itself when Trey is asked to father the child of another shape shifter; in return the husband of the shape shifter is willing to father a child with Piper. Can Piper let go of her reservations and finally make their family complete?

A Matter Of Duty involves some serious situations, especially the changing of mates in order to have children, some readers may have a problem with this, but I think it fits with the story line and gives the story an added element. Trey is a man bound by honor and does what he has to as a shape shifter. Piper is human and of course has some issues to get through first. This is a touching story of two couple that wants the one thing they can't have with each other and must make the ultimate sacrifice to get the final reward.
