| The leukemia that Anna McAdams has fought for five years is wearing her out. It refuses to go into remission no matter how hard she fights or prays. Realizing that she is dying, one final task occupies her mind. Martin has loved Anna since the day they met. He can't imagine life without her or ever giving in to the promise she wants him to make.
Nicola Beaumont pens a unique tale of the kind of love that is powerful and unselfish. Anna has fought bravely with Martin at her side every step of the way since she was seventeen. Their love and their devotion to one another is even more astounding considering that they are both still in their early twenties. The characters are well written, each a unique entity. Dialogue helps to move the tale and impress us with the people we're reading about. When Marie literally falls into Martin's life we're reminded again of the wonders that prayer and faith can perform. Ms. Beaumont tells a tale that's likely to warm the heart of any reader.
