This is a well written paranormal romance. I found the story line and characters interesting and once I started reading the story, I found that I couldn't put it down. I just had to finish it. Aiden is a powerful dragon who can't shift to escape this prison and protect his mate. Rowan is a strong woman who has been tortured and abused by her father for any reason. How they have found themselves and what they go through to get away keeps this story interesting. Along with these challenges that they face, there is a wonderful discovery for Aidan that just puts a nice twist into the story. I look forward to reading more of Violet Summers stories and I hope to see this story line continued.
