| Wilda is a witch had been tried and convicted in her world of a crime and sentenced to be taken to the Temple of Time and cast in. She's heard bad things about the temple, and knows that nobody ever comes out alive. Her powers had been stripped from her, and she is helpless. When she goes to the other side, she finds a world that is beyond her imagination… where draigs live and magical creatures help people… even a defenseless witch.
Vorst has been told by his friend that Wilda is trustworthy, and once he meets her he is strangely drawn to her. He's a Draig, and because of that can't mate with a human, but sometimes he wishes otherwise after he meets Wilda. They have an instant attraction, but neither one can act on it. When Wilda's life is in danger though, nothing will stop him from coming to her rescue. Wilda is a resourceful woman who will do what it takes to survive. I liked her spunk and readiness to tackle any problem, even that of being in love with a Daig. Vorst is the Daig, who is a dragon like creature that was created by a wizard and let loose when the task he was created for was done. Both of the characters kept my interest and made me want to read further. Sometimes the story seemed a little bit choppy, and Vorst was a little to simplistic for me at times, but it was still a good story with a lot of heart. If you are looking for something a little out of the ordinary, give Temple of Time: Forlorn a try, you won't regret it.
