Lily is in charge of planning the wedding and has been working night and day to make sure everything goes off without a hitch. When Pete shows up claiming to be technical support, she can't believe she forgot something so important or her instant attraction to Pete. Now they are working together and getting closer than a working relationship should go. Should she give in to her desires and let Pete seduce her? This book had me laughing out loud at the twists and turns, for instance how quickly Pete forgets his plot for revenge when he finds the right woman. Lily is against mixing business with pleasure, but she just can't seem to stop wanting Pete. Then you bring in all the problems with planning a wedding and you have a wonderful and delightful tale. For Pete's Sake continues the story from Hook Wine and Tinker, but it is not necessary to read the first one, although you do get the background information on Pete and his ex-girlfriend. Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, this book is a fun sequel to the first book.
