| Takan is the son of the god Ra, but his fellow warriors don't have any idea of his heritage. He wants to keep it that way as long as possible. But when he has vision of his mate and that she's the key to destroying the demon Apep - the very one that threatens the mortal realm - everything in his life changes.
Five years ago, Falon survived an undead attack yet her boyfriend was not so lucky. Now she hunts the very beings that turned her life upside down like she's Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Yet she has more impressive arsenal than a stake. She wields a bronzed blade sword, which is perfect for eliminating the undead. But one night, she meets another who fights the creatures of the night; and though fascinated by him, she can't run away from him fast enough. Foreseen Hunger is the sixth book in the Ra's Chosen series. And if they're all as exciting as this one - which I bet they are - then it appears I have some books to buy. The intriguing plot together with the witty dialogue between the two main characters was what made this book such an excellent read as do the hot sex scenes and the sexy secondary characters that were Takan's comrades in arms. What I really liked about the hero was his willingness to give Falon space to adjust to him, and not pressure her into a relationship with him just because she was his mate. And as for Falon, I liked the courage she possessed to be able to fight evil after her attack, and the spirit she showed for finally accepting Takan once learning his true heritage and that he wasn't just like the undead she fought. Lastly though, this book is a must read if you're a fan of paranormal books and alpha males. Also, it's great if you just want to read as well. But definitely start with book one in this series, because you'll learn just how Ra's other chosen warriors found their mates too.
