| Khyff used to be known as the machine when he was a slave and worked as a prostitute. His master had kept him on a drug that kept him constantly ready, and he had been one of his best money makers for him. Khyff had gotten free from that life two years ago thanks to his brother. After he was free, he got captured by the Empress Destroyia, and he used his many talents in bed to stay alive. She liked him so much that she decided to share him with some Kin, unaware of what they would torture and maim him to the point that he couldn't allow himself to be touched willingly. His sister-in-law and brother rescued him, but it was too late. Now his brother and his sister-in-law are in trouble and in order to save them the Empress demands that he help her by destroying one of her political opponents. He thinks that he'd do anything to save his brother, but he has no idea that she wants him to seduce his worst nightmare a kin.
For Women Only is the second book in a great series that Kayelle Allen is writing. I have read the first in the series, called At the Mercy of Her Pleasure, and thoroughly enjoyed it. This one doesn't disappoint either. It's a complicated tale, and there is a lot going on in Khyff's life that is brutal and hard to take. He is used and abused, both when he was a child and currently, but continues to try to stand on his own two feet. Mehfawni is the kin that he must seduce, and I found myself liking her a lot. She is the alpha of the relationship, and she manages to do it without making you feel that Khyff is a weak man. One of the things I have enjoyed about this series is that the women in them seem to be the strong one, almost like the male figures in most romances. Mehfawni is no exception, and she takes on Khyff's problems with no hesitation. There is a hot and steamy sex that burns up the pages between Khyff and Mehfawni, but it is not the only focus of the story. If you are looking for something different and exciting in a romance, don't hesitate to pick up For Women Only, you'll be glad you did.
