What happens when three happily married women decide to offer their husbands a “free pass” to have sex with a stranger in order to ward off the seven year itch that most marriages go through? For Cherisse and Wesley, it’s about a local lifeguard and an exhibitionist lady while they are on vacation together. For Debra and Gordon, their vacation in Greece takes on new meaning when they meet a Russian couple with a taste for swapping and kinky sex. For Melanie and Thomas, it’s all about him making sure she gets all that she wants.

I have to admit, the premise behind this book is not one I’m one hundred percent comfortable with. When reading it, I had to constantly remind myself this was fantasy and in all honesty, the characters in the book looked at it the same way. But subject matter aside, this book was written with tons of emotion and the plot moved right along so the reader does not want to put down the book.

The three men are shocked but turned on by the thought of their free pass, but the thought of their wives with other men is enough to make them think twice. Their commitment to each other is expressed throughout the book and makes the reader wonder why the wives had thoughts that the seven year itch would cause the men to stray. I believe this book is a great example of how couples are faced with challenges throughout their relationships and how important it is to have very open communication and honesty with each other. In every instance, the author made it a point to illustrate the emotion behind the encounters and how each spouse still had thoughts about each other. I thought this showed the amazing depth of love each couple shared and I just know that with their honesty and commitment to each other, all three couples will experience a lifetime of happiness and contentment. This book has two different types of sex scenes – the ones between the spouses and the ones where each person used their “free pass”. There is a definite difference in the emotional commitment between the two so once again the reader is made aware of the love and commitment between the spouses.
